STOLEN

On the evening of February 27th or the early morning hours of February 28th, a person or persons unknown picked the lock of Bird Song Used Books and stole the contents of a change tray, an outdated Windows XP netbook, and the entire contents of the Gift Cabinet.

Here is what they took.

My heart is so sore right now, I can't think straight.
There may not be more later. Not for a long time.

P.S. They also took my little 6 year old netbook. WHY?
It was the only computer we had that still ran Windows XP, which is the only operating system my 10 year old printer will talk to. Damn.

  1. That is so horrible! Have you considered sending this link to local pawn shops just in case? Also check Craigslist. I recovered my stolen car because the dumb criminal put it for sale online that same evening. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I used to be the gift buyer for Page One years ago, so I can imagine what you are feeling. I met with artists of all kinds, and they put their heart and soul into their crafts and they 100% depend on the sales it could generate. I will share this link to help give it exposure. The more people who know about it, the better the chances of recovery.

  15. The vast majority of art thefts are inside jobs...An employee, or other person who has access...These are not random events...It may be someone you know...The work is gorgeous...

  19. This is horrible. I have had one of my designs stolen once. Straight off a table during a show...horrible feeling. Someone tried another time years ago but I had security tags on most of my items. They actually broke the bracelet trying to get the tag off and I found the beads all over the floor under by cabinet in my booth. I hope you get yours back somehow. They are beautiful! I put in on my pinterest...
