Bead Societies!
Personally, I'm not a joiner - I'm lousy in groups - I've tried several times to be a part of various Etsy teams and I can't even do well virtually. BUT. If I were, I'd certainly look into being part of a bead society - many of them offer access to a communal library, shared resources, internal challenges, and all-around support for the bead-obsessed.

If you are looking for copper ball chain, I've got it at my studio, so I don't know how much it is, but I'll put it up on my web site tomorrow and you can tell me if you want some.

ReplyDeleteI tried to start a small beading guild here, but no one is into joining stuff, so we just continued meeting by chance...seems to work fine and we still share books and mags and cool places to get "stuff".
I don't keep any of the other base metal ball chain on hand. No, they don't contain lead. The ball chain is solid copper, 50 cents a foot and the connectors are 5 cents each. Let me know. I'm not sure I'm going to list it, so e.mail me if you want some.
